How to deploy a Certified Consumer

To deploy a certified consumer, click on ‘Consumers’ within the illuminate menu. Here, you can either edit an existing certified consumer, or deploy a new certified consumer. To deploy an existing certified consumer, click “Certified Build” This will bring up the Illuminate marketplace of certified N2N partners who have a series of APIs pre-configured to work with their systems.

 To deploy one of these certified consumer, simply click on the card to select it from the menu, or find a consumer via the dynamic search bar and select it.

After selecting a certified consumer, you will see a list of the pre-configured APIs that are delivered with that specific consumer. These can be reviewed prior to deployment. Once reviewed, select “Deploy Build”. Illuminate will, at this point, prompt you to specify which database provider the APIs in the build should draw data from as well as to input any values that would be needed for global variables (Those variables using constant values across multiple APIs in the same build such as a university specific URL) in the build. After accepting, the included APIs will be added to your API Library.
