Introduction to Illuminate

N2N's Integration Platform, Illuminate, makes it easy for organizations to connect new systems with their CRM, ERP and any other system or application. N2N Illuminate provides standardized and granular webservices through its API management platform.  With Illuminate you can create customized web services based on SQL, stored procedures and existing endpoints while applying translations, transformation and masking to your data.  These web services can be transformed and mapped to other web services using Illuminates Interface Designer Workflow and they can be scheduled to run on a recurring basis or executed ad-hoc. Illuminate web services can output data in JSON, XML, CSV/FTP and other formats with a simple setting that requires no additional programming.  

Illuminate customers can take advantage of the N2N Certified Partner Network by adding the API set of any Certified Consumer with a few button clicks. These are collections of prebuilt APIs developed and designed with our partners that enable integrations between the partner applications and your systems in a matter of minutes. 

Illuminate 3.0 is the second major release of N2N’s Illuminate platform. 3.0 builds on the popular features within the initial release and introduces many usability enhancements including a wizard based interface to easily and quickly create web services based on any SQL query or stored procedure. 

There are three subscription tiers to Illuminate: Photon, Wave and Spectrum.  Photon is our entry level subscription providing unlimited APIs created using access to a single consumer and single data connection. Wave is our middle tier that provides unlimited API creation between 10 consumers and 5 data connections and enables the Interface Designer which allows you to bridge APIs for seamless data flows. Spectrum is our top tier enterprise level subscription that provides unlimited API creation, unlimited data consumers and up to 30 data sources along with the Interface Designer and the full ISDM Library suite of APIs.  ISDM or Illuminate standard data model, provides over 150 pre-built APIs out of the box that can be configured to suit the needs of your organization. 

The Illuminate 3.0 release also introduces the IDMatch module. IDMatch is an optional add-on module that acts much like an ETL tool for your inbound APIs that require data validation. Given an inbound API, IDMatch can run the data through a series of search criteria in order to identify matching information prior to POSTing. IDMatch identifies exact and partial match results and allows a user to verify the identity of partial match results before they are loaded into your systems.  IDMatch gives you the ability to manually review account information or PII that a fully automated process may incorrectly merge or duplicate. IDMatch ensures the integrity of your data by allowing verification of questionable results and is a valuable addition to the Illuminate feature suite.
